Version 2.3.8 contains numerous polishing bug fixes implemented after all bug reports for the v2.2.x series were reviewed.
Most bugs were small, a couple were annoying, and none were serious. The two most important bugs fixed include the frequently seen "Where's my large attachment?" bug, and the *extremely* rare "Why can't I see my PasswordValet files?" bug.
Version 2.3.5 contains two new account creation options and numerous small bug fixes including some fine tuning to our automatic bug posting module.
Quick Start or Hands On? Choose Your Path.
Since different people have different needs (and opinions!) about security and privacy, we've add two new account creation options called 1) "Quick Start" for those who want 'cryptographic protection that just works' and 2) "Hands on" for those who take a more detailed, 'hands on approach' to cryptography, security, and privacy.
Choose your own path to protecting and controlling your important information, because the end result is the same: simple, industrial strength protection.

Version 2.3 provides you with cleaner HTML message handling, more SpamChallenge filtering options, new account wizard improvements, along with new personalizable, scalable system messaging options and an updated online updater.
Cleaner HTML Message Handling
HTML email: while some people love it, others loathe it. Others are concerned about the malicious web bugs and JavaScript that sometimes come with it.
Since we're all different and our email comes from different places (some trustworthy and others not at all), we've decided to make it easy on you.
The VaultletMail client now comes with four easy ways to deal with incoming HTML based email: 1) trust none of it and scrub all embedded HTML, 2) disable HTML rendering but let us see the code embedded within the message, 3) only render safe HTML (no images or URLs), or 4) trust all of it and attempt to render it within the VaultletMail message itself.
As though that's not enough options for you , you can even view the contents of your HTML messages in your browser too.

Personalized System Messages
Would you like plain or encrypted text?
With this release, the VaultletSuite lets you tell us how you want to be contacted by us.
Now, when VaultletSoft sends out system messages and news, you can tell us where and how you want to receive it: secure and encrypted at your VaultletMail account, or via plaintext email at the external account associated with your VaultletSuite account. It's your call.

More SpamChallenge Filtering Options
When it comes to dealing with spam, one size definitely does not fit all: while someone working in sales or public relations can't afford to miss any incoming email, others find that they simply can't be bothered to deal with messages from unknown senders until they prove that they're human (and not a spam-spewing zombie PC).
You've given us quite a bit of feedback about our SpamBot Challenge, and we've listened. Now you can choose any one of four strategies for dealing with incoming email that could be spam: 1) do nothing and allow it to flow directly into your inbox (not for the faint of heart!), 2) ask senders who aren't in your address book to click once on a URL in order to continue unhindered, 3) have them click on a URL and answer a really easy question, or 4) ask senders to take a funny Turing test (funny, but hard).
Like we said, one size definitely does not fit all, so take your pick!
