Using Java Web Start with
VaultletSuite 2 Go or the
Specialdelivery/DropBox Applets

Why use Java Web Start?

The Java Webstart option is designed for users of Firefox on OS X or Linux who don't get the same level of Applet support that Firefox on Windows offers.

Using Java Web Start for the VaultletSuite 2 Go also allows you to get started even when you don't have the VaultletSuite 2 Go installed on your USB flash drive or the computer you're currently using.

What happens the first time your browser sees a Java Web Start file?

The first time that some browsers see a Java Web Start file (one that ends in .jnlp), they might not know what to do with it. Fortunately, Java Web Start files are just like PDFs or Flash files: all you need to do is to configure the browser once to recognize the plugin and they'll run automatically after that.

In the event that you do need to configure your browser to recognize Java Web Start files, we've provided you with the help you'll need to get your browser set up in no time to work with Java Web Start using Internet Explorer or Firefox, Mozilla and/or Netscape.
