Good question. Quite simply, it's the best way to get your question answered.
Here's a related question: "Why doesn't VaultletSoft just provide a properly written users manual?" Good documentation is hard to create, time consuming and, unfortunately, infrequently read.
As a small software startup, we have to prioritize where our time and money go. As a result, when choosing between developing features that our current users need and guessing what our users need to know (and will actually read) we'll always choose improving our software.
