Software
The VaultletSuite 2 Go server software runs, and has been developed and tested on, an Open Source stack composed of: Linux (Redhat and CentOs), Apache, JBoss, MySQL, Bouncy Castle crypto and Sun's Java 5 JDK. Although it has yet to be tested on other Linux platforms, it should also be deployable and run equally well on other distributions, along with IBM's Java 5 JDK.
Hardware
Minimum hardware: 1 Xeon dual/quad core processors or their AMD equivalents, w/ 2GB RAM and 1 available GB installation space on the Hard drive. Your requirements for message and attachments storage will dictate your hard drive capacity.
Recommended hardware: 2 or more dual/quad core processors and 4GB RAM. Anything you can add above and beyond this will certainly improve performance under heavy load, but is not a requirement.
